Cancer Pillows
Cathy's
sister-in-law Lola Hare helped
care for Cathy throughout her illness and supplied special pillows
from the company she works with, SnoozTime products. These unique
pillows provided Cathy flexibility for comfort and
support without adding pressure. In many instances they were
used to prevent and heal bedsores and circulation discomfort
in addition to providing cool comfort emotionally and physically.
Enlightened by this experience Lola approached SnoozTime to
create a special cancer pillow in honor of Cathy.
SnoozTime
agreed and and is donating a portion of the sale
of each cancer pillow to the Cathy Swimelar Foundation.
The idea of the pink ribbon design was chosen for the pillows
to provide a familiar symbol in the family and healthcare community.
Funds from the sale of Cancer Pillows will be used to provide help
to cancer patients and their families living with cancer.
