About Cathy Swimelar Foundation
The Cathy Swimelar Foundation is the idea and brainstorm of
Cathy’s
family to keep her spirit and love of helping people, continue
in life. While Cathy is no longer physically here with us, her
passion, love and spirit can live on through the foundation.
Throughout Cathy’s life and into her final days she was
always concerned about the comfort and welfare of others. A fond
memory and example of her hospitable spirit was while bedridden
and on oxygen, Cathy wanted to serve her family and friends food
and drink. Continuously
asking them what she could get them. Always wanting to serve
and provide comfort to all around her.
In memory and honor of Cathy’s life, this foundation is
designed to help and assist other cancer patients and their families
with necessities that insurance or household funds cannot cover.
This foundation, in loving memory of Cathy Swimelar, is here
to serve and help others in need.
The Cathy Swimelar Foundation is primarily funded through the
sale of SnoozTime Cancer pillows.
These pillows were very helpful and beneficial in Cathy’s
comfort and healthcare.
